"Don't be insecure about your body; you are a god damn tiger who earned her stripes" WhatKotoWear.- Stripes is assumed to offer a sense of sophistication and elegance and can offer a lot to an outfit. Personally i have a love relationship with stripes. As shown in these attached pictures, Here i paired the striped sweater with the leather maxi skirt. Hopefully mine won't be too much by the necklace i wore. Because, there is crucial thing to remember when adding stripes to our wardrobe is to keep it simple since stripped attire is already so loud on its own. We don't need to add crazy amount of accessories tho... leather maxi skirt : batik

Hi ! it has been a long time not to see you. Actually, i have never been so that busy instead having a bad time management. I was supposed to write at least once a month in 2013 but like what i have mentioned before… i was more likely to be a bad time manager. Everything was always messy, my hours was married with shadow and i have never been going to extra miles instead running behind the hand of clock. So, i am gonna make up for it in this year. Although this is a super duper late post talking about ‘RESOLUTIONS’, There are something that i want to share and this is just the beginning. We admit that new year and resolutions are like an invitation to start a new chance given. So, I have bunch of things to do to be a better one here and my first ‘what to change’ list is… (sailor's picture from bleubird blog) have you ever heard or read a poster on tumblr quoting ‘Love yourself’ or ‘accept whatever you are’ ? i think even a teacher in the class also told the student how important to love themselves. However, i have been found it’s hard to love myself since i couldn’t remember when. i have been battling with myself, my thought in silence while people think i am okay. I have people told me to love myself but i think, they just don’t really know how hard it is. The feelings when you wake up, you just hate everything about yourself. People might think “oh Wita is so smart… getting scholarship to study abroad, always upload her photos with her foreign friends. oh yes, Wita is already success and has many friends to chill out with” but BIG NO for that. Actually, Wita is a girl who has insecurity.
I was not supposed to rest on my laurels but what happen then , when i compare what i have done with what should it has to be done. my mood is often perfectly shrinked by it. I tend to always blame myself when i am failed of reaching something which is caused by me who seems to not give my best. Sometimes i feel tired by nothing. Comparing with others and chasing perfections always make me feel insecure. until last night, when i was gonna sleep, i was thinking about the truly reason of me feeling insecure. Do i have to feel confidence enough just if i am better than others? Isn’t it arrogance, is it? All people must not be better than me then i can be confidence… ooouugh, i hate to say that but that is true. who cares to be better than others? the most important is being better of your version. AND THEN THE LIGHT BULB APPEARED… I have to careless about insecure. My focus on this year is placing the insecure out of the window. Forgiving myself is the things that i want easily to do . I want to build relationship with myself better. I want to realize more that thankfulness will make me happy. So, no more a blamed tweet to myself by me again. hahaha let see how it works. (Hubpages.co) -Wedge shoes are fun and very trendy, and when the weather warms up, they are hard to resist. Even if you don't normally wear heels, it's easy to add a bit more height when adding wedges to any outfit. Whether you want to dress up or dress down the wedge is the way to go if you want to make a trendy fashion statement. You can wear them with flowing skirts, dresses, or you can even dress down in a pair of jeans. Wedges are very popular, not only because of their versatility, but because they have a moderate heel, and are more comfortable to wear then your typical high heeled shoe. maxi skirt : bershka

She was also a Fashion Stylish for a Teenage Magazine in Vietnam. I definitely love the pastel colors and flower pattern of her outfit. The Colors of her hair suit her skin tones well too. it's cheerful and seems perfect for a sometimes-cloudy-and-windy spring day. Well, Koto is actually my family name given from my ancestor. I use it as my surname since I just came to Turkey 2 years ago. I've never used it before when i was in Indonesia since i didn't think it was needed. The reasons why i use Koto as my surname are 1. My name is too long and there is no surname on my name 2. Turkish always ask what my surname is 3. i'm thinking to build my future brand from now on. So, If you've ever heard a surname such as Tanjung, Chaniago etc. Mine, Koto is something like that... and you know what? I can't marry with a guy who has Koto as his family name. My mom told me That's kinda culture in some region in Padang that we can't marry with someone who has same Family Name. It's a little bit Illogical, isn't it ? and it's too long to explain because i need to explain what is matrilineal first and than probably you would understand. Koto is a reflection of me, that's why i use wear not wears as the verb. what koto wear is nothing but just a caption when i post what i wore on Instagram or somewhere else. Somehow it's funny when my friend offered herself for taking my picture for my what-koto-wear. I've never thought people would realize about the caption before. And here i wanna share some pictures when i was visiting Istanbul 2 weeks ago. Icha took me to Eminonu for having dinner after attending Gebyar GISBI 2014, an Indonesia Culture Festival. *Please dont save the picture without my permission :) what do you think about the necklace? That's my first time D.I.Y Necklace. She is Ismi Khairunnisa Ariani but you can call her Icha. She was my roommate when we were studying TOMER in Turgut Ozal University last year. So happy because she always accompany me for my 1 week vacation. We ate Balik Ekmek for dinner. It's priced 6 TL for a half of Bread. forgot to take the picture, sorry. we were too hungry to do that. Tulips everywhere Thanks to Icha for taking me to Yeni Cami in Eminonu between 08.00-09.00 pm . It wasn't so crowded so I can took some flying-posed pictures. Thank you! Salam.
"The Earth without art is just Eh" I have spent 3 months summer holiday in Turkey, Last year. I was too bored to do nothing so i decided to do Decoupage. So, Have you done decoupage before? Well, for you who never and don't know what decoupage , Wikipedia has the explanation for you.... "Decoupage (or découpage) is the art of decorating an object by gluing colored paper cutouts onto it in combination with special paint effects, gold leaf and so on. Commonly an object like a small box or an item of furniture is covered by cutouts from magazines or from purpose-manufactured papers. Each layer is sealed with varnishes (often multiple coats) until the "stuck on" appearance disappears and the result looks like painting or inlay work. The traditional technique used 30 to 40 layers of varnish which were then sanded to a polished finish." (Wikipedia) my first decoupage on my portfolio book Material for Decoupage Crafts: Common household materials can be used to create effects. Here is a short list of supplies :
Now is your turn! Who said there is nothing in Ankara? yeah I know there's nothing to compare with Istanbul but you have to come and see, fellas! Ankara has a lot of beautiful Public Park besides Anitkabir (google it if you dont know). Hamamonu is just one of them. We took Kak Maesaroh and Kak Rani's scene there. Falling in love with the Place and Weather <3 Sakura in Turkey. Thought Sakura is only in Japan. Kak Rani's Smile. i was being Kak Rani's assistance :D Hi...! we are the Hi Five! i couldn't find any picture when we took Kak Maesaroh's scene, sorry :(
"Sometimes the most ordinary things could be made extraordinary, simply by doing them with the right people" -Nicholas Sparks- Hello there! Thanks for visiting my new Blog anyway. Here, I wanna share some pictures when me and my friends were shooting for making a short video as a project from PPI Turki (Indonesian Student Association in Turkey ), Pictures are randomly taken by Risti or Wanti. Caribou Coffee is a recommended one since Starbucks is too mainstream for studying. Wanti, Video Director Nadira, Script Writer Risti, Camera(wo)man Baim, video editor me, amateur cast Baim is my best partner in project ever. I only need to boost his mood but somehow it's hard Lol Day-1 taking my scene in Caribou Coffee, Kizilay. wait for the Video in the second Post.
" Fashion is what you buy, Style is what you do with it" This is what i wore when i was interviewing Kak Rani for #Ladiesfirst Project from PPI Turki. Please don't expect me anything, i dress to express not to impress. (Hamamonu, Ankara Turkey) The way i dress is much more inspired by Yohji Yamamoto. He is a Legend Designer, a Japan’s elegant king of noir. I love how he reflects on the rules of beauty and clothing as armor. His thought assures me that fashion and style are more than being pretty and chasing perfection. Fashion and style are walking-arts. So, Let’s try being “you suit the dress well” not “the dress suit you well”
